After-School All-Stars

Our Mission

To provide comprehensive out-of-school programs that keep children safe and help them achieve in school and in life.

How a child spends the crucial hours after school can literally change that child's life. While children without activities or supervision during these hours are more likely to get into trouble, children who participate in after-school programs earn higher grades, are more successful in school, build positive relationships and set higher aspirations.

Founded in 1993 by Arnold Schwarzenegger to positively influence and inspire at-risk children and youth, After-School All-Stars helps children stay safe and achieve their goals in school and in life. After-School All-Stars offers a proven alternative for middle-school children. We engage them in activities and on-going relationships that increase confidence and encourage success in all areas of their lives -- at home, in school and in the community.

"I can't think of a more important cause than keeping children safe and helping them succeed. A lot of people have helped me in my life, and I am honored to be a part of a program that inspires and teaches children their imminent worth and value; giving them the chances that they need to realize their full potential."

--Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, National Spokesperson ASAS
